  • Developental Editing

    Developmental editing is an early stage of the editing cycle, and it involves analyzing things such as the structure, consistency, flow, order, and clarity of meaning of your manuscript or report. I will work with you to make sure your content flows logically and is clear and consistent for your readers.

  • Copy Editing

    Copy editing involves editing content for spelling, punctuation, grammar, structure, tone, consistency, and accuracy. I will check your manuscript or report for stylistic inconsistencies, rewrite sentences to improve flow and clarity, and suggest any revisions that may be needed. I will conduct fact checking at this stage on request.

  • Proofreading

    Proofreading is the final stage of editing. It involves checking your formatted work for any major grammar or spelling errors. I will not make any major changes to the text at this point but will instead focus on checking for any remaining errors or inconsistencies in your work.

All work can be done in Google Docs or Microsoft Word, and other programs may be accomodated upon request.

Prices

  • Prices are determined per project. I am a proud member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, which shares data pertaining to typical editing rates.

  • My rates are in line with industry standard. Please note that every project is different, so rates vary considerably from project to project.
