About me

I’ve always loved to write. When I was in elementary school, I would spend hours each day putting pen to paper and writing fun and fantastical stories. I dreamed of becoming a writer and sharing my ideas with the world.

After college graduation, I was unsure how to turn my history degree into a career. I was offered a publishing internship with an academic journal and thought, “Why not?” Within weeks of starting the internship, I was hooked. I loved using the skills I learned in my liberal arts degree to review, edit, and format scholarly articles.

Ever since, I’ve dedicated my professional career to honing my editorial craft. I’ve edited academic articles for universities and scholarly journals, reviewed curriculum for K-12 online courses, and proofread nonfiction manuscripts.

One interesting tidbit is that I have a Masters from the University for Peace in Costa Rica. My degree is in Gender and Peacebuilding, and I use that educational background to inform everything I edit. I ensure everything I review is accessible and inclusive to all people.

You need your scholarship and writing to shine and show how skilled you are. I’m excited to help you do that.
